i read the political news here almost every morning with as many of the comments as i can muster to get through, and my idealogy still stands that many great minds have been wasted on the pointless indevour of government. more thought should've been put into working and using one another for better or worse rather than ruling one another. the classes should've went out not up, essentailly instead of becoming rich and powerful, we should've become inteeligent and many. as well as this firm belief in the back of my brain that says too many of todays "lessons" are based on history, tradition, sentamentality, and religion. if you think of all the money and mind we've spent on weaponry we could've already landed and possibly colonized mars, or maybe even had a working space station, or a cure for cancer and other terminal daseases. and other things like the system known as governments leaves too much room for moderation and not enough room for specifics. for instance say you have a mind that is designed for something as simple as mathmatical formulas, now you fail all your classes including math because the math they give you is too boring the system moves to slow and not enough options to advance. you fail all your other classes, say, simply because you're no good at the other subjects. you could quite possibly have changed the world but from grade 3 you're screwed because of the incompetence of our government to provide proper educational funding, after all you don't have to be smart to defend our country. once again not true if you're out of shape in the least our can't meet the specific criteria of our military you can't join in with them either. back to the point, after schooling this carries through with you the rest of your life. you failed most your classes, no college. you don't have the money, no college. you're that perfect lower middle class, you can't even get enough financial aid until you're 24. by then most kids in my town that's lower middle class or under have kids. even if you don't the normal bachelors degree take 4 years. so now you're 28 then you decide for master then you're between 36-38 when you complete it. you haven't even begun to use the full capacity of your brain and already it's deteriating and you have happened to use the full capacity of your time. plus do all this and hold a full time job and find time for spiritual advancement and resolution, and find time to find somebody that you can love without fear of it ending in you losing half of what you don't already have because you're paying off student loans. then add in trying to raise kids during this, and keep up on bills, plus the ever changing laws with use losing our precious freedoms, like super sized fries and smoking in bars!!! GRRRRR it's all enough to make your head explode. then at the end of it you're looking forward to retirement but because of the stupid fighting over oil and religious beliefs and lies, and a 100 other mistakes we've made our generation isn't even garaunteed S.S.I.. So we head back to work and die there. just one possible outcome and unfortunately on my mind everyday while i'm at work, this is the reason i quit jobs. I want to spend my life living but it's so hard to do sometimes with the way this world is setup. wrong place, wrong time ----there's your first weekly rant, Malicious Da-Zees
