Jerry's Kids do the song I posted lyrics for, it's called I Don't Belong, it was on a great old record called Is This My World. If you haven't heard of them before they were an old Boston band from the early eighties. Don't feel bad if you haven't, nobody else has made a guess about those lyrics yet.
Let me know when y'all plan on coming back into town, I'll be sure to have some peanut butter on hand.

Giggling is the correct response. There were actually two bands called Jerry's Kids, well one was actually Jerryskids, I believe and they were from Texas. The good one was the Boston band I mentioned, although it's pretty hard to find a Boston punk band from that era that I don't like, musta been something in the water up there.
Yeah, the 19th, that's right in the middle of SXSW, there should be plenty going on here that weekend.

I gotcha, personally the Meatmen were one of many bands that I grew up on, so I still hold a soft spot for them. Yeah, a lot of their schtick isn't really funny, but that's part of the gimmick too. Have you ever seen them live? It makes the gags much better in a live setting with Tesco doing costume changes every five minutes and waving giant penis guns around....ahhh, those lost days of youth...

Hello Muffin, Happy Thursday! (sorry, had to do it after citrus's comment)
Anywho, Jen needs to get back at a decent time on Sunday too, so we're nixing the roller derby for this Sunday. We'll just have to make it another SG event in the future (hopefully a weekend night). So, we can head back to DFW at a normal time on Sunday...3ish, or just whenever we're up, moving, and have some food in our bellies. Sound good? I'll e-mail you directions to my house today.
