Alton towers on monday was FAB! 
Gettting there early and on a day when the weather forcast was crap meant that there were no queues till gone lunch time. Having to wait and queue for the rides always taks the edge off but when you can just run from one to the other it's just sooo much fun!
Oblivion has still got to be my favorite - for instant gratification it's just perfect. A split second of sheer terror and the nice smooth curve back to the stop. V V quick adrenalin jolt, not like the violent bone shaking of some of the others.
We went on one of the fast accelerating ones too, i hadn't been on one of those before and it really was "almost" as good, close but no coconut
oh and the new ride for this season " willy wonka"... sucked BIG time... soo crap. I know it's a kids one but even so it was crap. The toy town boat ride was way better.
You may not get to see mount fuji in the background like fujiyamma but it was still fun... but back in the real world work still sucks! That an watching a documentary about how big the end time evangelical movement is tere in the states was very depressing
