Mind you a bit of physical labour is supposed to be a nobel thing, and actually is usually quite good fun in the end, and at least I won't be at work!!!

on a totally different subject, is life just too "safe" these days/ is that why society crumbles around us.
In past history when the woods were dark scary places and children grew up being told scary parables that taught them what would happen if they didn't do what they were told people knew that bad things could happen. They knew the world could be a scary place. Is this what gave solid foundations to right and wrong. Concequences could be BaD?
Now people grow up safe and secure. No myth or magic. All is science and bright lights. No dark corners with demons waiting, nothing scary anymore. If nothing is scary then what is there to be afraid of, why should you need to be "good", what can happen to you?
perhaps we should have more mystery in our world again. Mystery with a bit of an edge, something that is unexplainable and uncontrolable?
