it's pretty bad when your garbage can has overflowed onto the desk andyou literally have to dig through garbage to pick up the phone. The chair I'm sitting on normally rolls around but its totally locked in by debris. The last two loads of laundry I've done are still on the floor, hanging out with the overflowing dirty clothes hamper. Everywhere I look are bottles and dirty dishes and wrappers and boxes.
ooh, and look! toenail clippings!

eh, I've done worse. I once had such a filthy house, when a plate broke on the floor I just left the broken glass there in the pile of crap for like a month.
