Warning: rant ahead.

Please understand that if you tell me you don't use condoms "because they don't feel good" and you aren't in a steady relationship (where you have taken time for both partners to get tested for various STDs), I will think less of you. We are all old enough to be aware of the terrible risks of unprotected sex. Grownups should be able to sacrifice a little bit of pleasure in order to do the right thing. If you're "pulling out" to prevent pregnancy, or using birth control pills but ignoring potential STDs, I think you're making a bad decision, and will not be sympathetic when you get bitten in the ass by your decisions. I swear to god, the next person who asks me to take them to a clinic for an STD test they shouldn't need, or who wants me to drive them to get an abortion that was totally preventable will be subject to a major freak-out. I know you can't prevent everything, but at least make an effort, people! With my fertility problems, I am jealous of the girls who can have kids, and it makes me resent them when they have multiple abortions. I wish I could be pregnant. Don't tell me what a burden it is when you refuse to get on B/C and don't use condoms consistently. I wish I had your burden! But I won't because I am sexually responsible. And that's because I think sex is a privelege and a responsiblity, not a right. And if you really can't stand sex with condoms, keep your legs closed!
