OK, time for an update. Life is weird right now. I had an injury and was unable to work all weekend. Now my finances are totally screwed. I had arranged for money to come out today (bills), but after not working all weekend, it means that my rent won't go through. I had to go talk to the leasing lady at my complex. Meh. It's just frustrating that every time I think I'm catching up, things go straight to shit. 
So..... good things from the weekend:
I went out Friday night. Didn't get to do what I had wanted to, but got to see a former member, and BoxOfficePoison, and a friend of his. We all had a nice dinner in Berkeley, then I went to pick up muse43 for an evening of drinking and dancing (except no drinking for me - I was DD). It was fun-ish, but somw things that I wanted to do never happened, and I was really pissed about it.
Better thing: Since I was injured all weekend, I spent Saturday doing stuff around the house, and followed it with dinner at my parents' house. The three of us, along with my youngest brother watched Star Wars: A New Hope, and Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back on my new DVDs.
Sunday, I watched my younger brother kick ass on the soccer field (he's really talented, and plays for a very competitive team), then had the_cowboy over to finish watching the original SW trilogy. I hate that at the end of Return of the Jedi, they changed the image of Anakin to be the kid from the new movies. What happened to the guy who played that role originally? Now his whole part in Star Wars is cut out!
Today is a long day at work, but hopefully I will be in my baby's arms again tonight.
Do you have a copy of Saturday's San Francisco Chronicle? There is an article about my old high school that I really want to read. If you have it, and can save it for me, I'd appreciate it.
Still going grey in a little bit. Sorry guys, but I've got to pay rent and feed myself before looking at nakie girls.
