Sometimes things work out for the best.

I was dreading work tonight, as I was scheduled to cocktail with the girl I had drama with last week. I hate when people are petty, and I was so furious last Friday that I almost quit my job. I was in pain heading to work because apparently a cyst ruptured on my right ovary this evening. Needless to say, I was not in the mood for more bullshit. It didn't matter. though - she actually apologized and was really sweet to me all evening. I didn't dislike her, but I had been mad at her for some things she said. But all is well now, and she even offered to stay late because I felt like garbage and she needs extra money. I do, too, but I couldn't deal with the pain, so I left. When I got off of work, a customer gave me a ride to the ER for my pain, and they diagnosed the cyst. I'm on fun painkillers that they shot me full of, and I have some vicodin samples (free) to keep me happy until my body fixes itself. Working tomorrow evening is going to suck, but not due to unecessary bullshit between servers!

Also, my boss gave me a pound of See's chocolates, and two bottles of nice wine. What a generous guy!
