A dictionary of swearing, invective, and simple foul language, started as a joke, a small booklet given away with the magazine. It has since expanded into a 600 page dictionary, which is seen to be the go-to reference book on the subject. Nobody had dared publish anything like this before, and as there are many different parts of the UK, with differing terms for things, it keeps growing, as people send new entries in to Viz. Although humorous in tone, and utterly filthy, as is the nature of the subject, it has been cited by serious scholars as a true reference work. The 'Roger' mentioned on it, is the long faced bloke smoking a pipe. He's Roger Mellie, the Man On The Telly, a boozing, foul-mouthed git of a TV presenter. If you can imagine Jeremy Clarkson turned up to eleven, then you're nearly there.
