Since getting some news about my blood pressure I didn't like, I had to pump up the activity. A LOT. I'm running in a way I haven't since I was on cross-country in high school. I don't love it, but it has become part of my routine. And we old guys like our routine... 
Anyhoo, in the course of one week recently, I both came in second in my age group in a 5K trail run (that took our my neighbor -- we call her "The Dominatrix" 'cause she's so hardcore running (not be because of the sex dungeon she keeps in her basement) -- and her ankle; AND my softball team made up of faculty -- more old guys -- came in second in university intramurals.
But here comes winter. It's getting cold. Urge to exercise waning... waning... rising!... waining....
