Pneumonia sucks...
So, yeah... I had some business to take care of downtown this morning. Due to car problems, my transportation was limited. So I had a 45 minute wait for a ride home. I still have my New Years uber cold. I was wearing a nice (xmas present) fleece 1/2 way zip dealie that had no hood and a leather jacket. No hat, ear muffs, or anything (I despise wearing such things). So, of course, I decide to walk the 2-2 1/2 miles home in the sleet, wind, and snow... It was a challenge to me (yeah, I'm silly like that...) So... 35 minutes later, I arrive home soaking wet and freezing cold. Surprisingly, my uber cold feels much better (which I hope is a good sign...
) and I'm cuddling up with a tall cup of hot cider. I wrote the haiku during my trek through the cold streets of Bridgeport (adversity, it seems, is my muse...). Aren't you glad you know someone silly like me?
