Started my externship today. It doesn't Actually count though due to paperwork items. Stayed from 930- 5ish.it wasn't a big day but I learned a few things. Like things in the real world don't happen like in the books lol watched a spay and neuter. Held some kittens, pet a bird, made an ass out of myself. I felt so bad I was told to hold this cat so I went to grab it scruff so it could get its shot and it was just purring away. I didn't need to hold it. In front of its owner too. Man I felt like such an ass. Such a sweet cat. I think the highlight of my day a couple found an older dog, kept it and would do anything to make sure it was very well taken care of. Any blood test, surgeries anything. It's owners like that who make me have hope. After seeing all those sweet animals dumped at the shelter, for someone so loving take care of a stray and love it to death. Love that couple lol

Still itchy, because I lost my medicine for it as soon as I got out of "work" hubby tells me yeah there is a stray at our house looks malnourished can you get someone to take it. So when I get home I walked it around and it s owners picked it up. Turns out the ppl live 4 doors down. They were fostering the sweet guy.

Hubby made me dinner for it though. And he promised me a foot rub
