one more day...one more day!!!
As of 2 am tomorrow morning I am done with the Playhouse. I am fairly excited to be done.
I'm looking forward to heading home to Maine to visit my folks for a few days before I start my next gig...which conviently enough happens to be in Maine as well...albeit 75 miles from my folks. It's actually a fairly good gig. I'll be helping them load in their last show and then running sound for some sort of production involving Elvis. Then I'll be striking the last show and helping to winterize the theater. It should be fairly easy and it actually pays better than what I've been making all summer. Apparently I have more room to negotiate than I originally thought. Hopefully it will be the relaxing gig I was hoping for this summer.
So I'm seriously thinking I'm going to do karate or some form of martial arts when I get back to White River. I'm not sure if I am going to the gym thing as well. I'd talked to a friend of mine about being gym buddies when we got back. I really like the idea of an aggresive outlet and being in better shape. Though I'll also be taking a class when I get back so I need to work all that out time wise.
I may have found my in as far as the Vermont local goes. I worked for a couple of union guys this weekend, made a good chunk of bank too, and they not only had good things to say about my work but also promised to get on the BA's case about getting me some work.
So I guess all in all things are good right now. No more weird dreams and no more ex dreams. That Hitler dream really took the cake on the weirdness scale.
Well I'm off to watch Band of Brothers. If you've not seen it I highly recommend it.
