(3 hours later, still angry. what's so hard about saying something like "looks like a good evening, and I like the hair, but she kinda reminds a bit of X?" On the other hand, I know very few guys whose mum doesn't drive them nuts within a few sentences and seems incapable of communicating without pulling all triggers. It seems to be a necessity for them, to not just care and worry but to express it in the worst possible way :)
