Goals are set for the newborn eve
As moon slips o'er the sky
The twilight gives choice in the infinite
Yet on the couch I lie

To be merry with friends or to love in the night
The demons lurch within
Against lethargy is the brutal fight
A fight I shall not win

So I stare at the paint on my walls and soul
Each new layer is closing in
And I cant help but ponder the wisdom of old
Is my apathy my greatest sin
