So, I've come to the conclusion that chiropractors are WAY cooler than doctors.
Case in point: I've had a headache for the last month, I tried to get an appointment with my neurologist (seeing as I have epilepsy this could be a concern) which failed because the wonderful folks at University Hospital were so gracious to tell me that I need to see a normal doctor, not my neurologist. I guess that might be understandable, so I ask for a referral, which also fails because nobody I talked to was any help at finding the right department or there wasn't any doctors who could see me before the spring.
In an attempt to remedy my situation and after friends and coworkers tell me to go see a chiropractor, I look up the one chiropractor I know. After proximately one minute on the phone I have no problems scheduling an appointment, as a matter of fact they can see me the next day... no problems at all.
I go see my chiropractor and after a couple of minutes of describing my headache he already knows what the problem is.
The back of my neck was so knotted that it was causing pressure on the nerves in my head, thus causing a month long massive headache. He did some adjustments, applied some heat and after about an hour I feel like gold. He had helped my headache and told me how to remedy it at home.
All of this for $35 dollars.
Now, I'm not an expert on chiropractors, I couldn't tell you who would be good or bad, but I can tell you that for the fee of $35 bucks he genuinely helped me and I didn't have to worry about health insurance or the hassle of a gigantic doctor bill.
So for everyone I spoke to at University Hospital.... EAT SHIT AND DIE YOU FUCKING GREEDY FUCKS!!!!!
