I’ve been working hard trying to get re-employed. Layoff is never fun, but it does offer an opportunity to consider the possibilities. My mantra is “i will keep applying to jobs until i find the job i want”. So far i’m at about 28 applications. I’ve got 4 active leads or call backs so far. I don’t know if i can do any of these jobs. But at least i have some action!
The most advanced opportunity involves a relocation to east coast usa. The location is good. I just don’t think my family wants to move. But we like eating and paying mortgage too, so we’ll see!

@bel_automne i’m a big fan of canada! But my wife is from mexico. She knows nothing of snow! We may have to move to virginia beach in the states. We’ll see, i’m up to 30 applications or so. About four call backs so far but two eliminated me. One lead i have been working with recruiters only about 6 weeks. I finally have a webex tomorrow with the leadership so they can get to know me. I just bought this house a year ago and i’d hate to sell it. But baby has to eat!

Loll, 2 years ago, my neigbors come from Mexico. I have many friends come from Africa, Colombia... 🤣
