The last few months, i watched something happen to my doggy. We have two, titi (skinny neurotic jealous mother) and bambina (chunky, beautiful baby girl who turned blind at 8 yrs). Bambina was always chunky she got all the food and love of a littermate who died at birth. Queen latifah like. But one day, i noticed she would start panting just by napping, getting really hot to touch and needing alot of water. Turns out she has cushing's disease. So we give her some pills. She not only gets better, her pounds start to shed off. She's almost near titi's weight now. How strange!

Thanks @hexkitten, they are funny these two girls. Mama titi is cranky now, all white and whiny, we think she maybe has some joint problems. Bambina is great though, skinny, blind, digging into the treat cabinet every so often. Very demanding these doxies, they insist on treats about a dozen times a day. It's getting expensive the older they get!

lol I hear you!! When our shepherds get bored, they do nothing but whine for treats! God it's almost an infestation at this point. lol but every dog deserves to be spoiled, so why fight it.
