Oh boy, last week was tough for america. Very emotional. Will take some time to recover from the reality of a president trump. Let's just make all of america look like atlantic city, right?
Anyway, this trauma in my life was immediately followed by my first real job offer. I got laid off from my job of 13 years last april. 7 mos of searching, permanent vacation. Wrecked my family temporarily, even though i'm living well on severance. I'm gonna make this job offer work. And get back to work without having to relocate. I'm super lucky and grateful. This company was the first place i went when i got laid off. It matured from a long term maybe into a real lead over several months. The money will be less. But the job could not fit me better. I'm excited! Maybe i can make it in trumps america!
