We love to travel and explore. I'm a huge fan of mexico for getaways. Among my two favorite vacation spots is bahia de los angeles in baja california. It is just beautiful there, small fishing village only accessible by road and small airstrip. Camp on the beach of the bay of california, kayak, snorkel, fish for yellowtail, see tons of whales and whale sharks, amazing scenery. 10 hr drive from the border in san ysidro. Looks like this
People in mexico are among the most friendly and humble on the planet. I feel safer in mexico than i do in america. But i have american getaways i like too. Like the lake house pictured above, in far north woods of wisconsin where i spent most of my vacations as a kid. Going back for maybe the last time in a few weeks, we are sadly putting it on the market for sale.
