It's been awhile since I've let you guys into my life and thoughts. So, I thought that I would drop a knowledge bomb on everyone and let you in on a few things.
Number 1 on my list and probably the biggest is my new sort of job. If you didn't already know, I was accepted into an elite commuinty of music geeks. I (along with Rachel) are now DJ's for 88.1 WRFL. Yeah, its college radio but who cares. I get to share my love of music with more people now. This is something that I have always wanted to do. When I was in high school, before I decided to go into the art field, I was going to go into communications and be in radio. I thought that art would be a better fit, but now I will really see. So, when everyone is up and getting ready and going to work and such on Wednesday mornings, turn your dial all the way to the left to 88.1 and your friendly neighborhood Daniel will be helping you get your day started. I will be on from 6am - 9am. Exciting, uh? I'm uber stoked. I'm working on some bits to do with Brian and Jeff that I think that everyone will get a kick out of, hopefully. But don't tune in expecting to hear your standard music you hear on the radio because none of that trash will be played.
Number 2 is my new roomate getting ready to migrate up here. Jeff is officially moving in with his wife and my Padawan, Michael, is moving in. He is ready to get out of Rockcastle county and up here. Some of you have already met him, but the majority haven't. Don't worry about that. We are planning a "Welcoming" party for him that is going to put all other parties to shame. Let me just drop this small nugget of a rumor about it, it involves a bouncy castle. You've been warned, so prepare.
Other than those two things, everything else is going ok for the most part. Work is certainly boring and I feel that I am ready to move on the other things with my career but that is turning out to be a difficult task. There are other things going on with me that I don't want to discuss in a public forum but they involve me moving along with things and putting certain things to the side. My head is a confusing mess most of the time. Being an adult and making adult decisions sucks. Most of the time, I can't make a decision and that makes it more difficult. I think I'm going to go back into therapy. No worries, it is nothing like it use to be for those that know.
So don't forget to turn into my radio show on Wednesday morning from 6-9 am on 88.1 WRFL. If you can't pick the station up in your area, you can stream it online from www.wrfl881.org. If you listen, give me feedback. Don't tell me that I suck though. I already know that the first show is going to be a trainwreck.
