On the heels of last year
I'm back in the library doing some more geeking and software updating. I'm not even bothering with having any kind of course book out this time - I'm too far into my geeking. Maybe I'll do some serious learning later. We'll see.
I used the phone line at Anji's to get connected earlier today, which meant for the first time in a while that I could actually use Thunderbird to check my e-mail. Why can't that thing work with my university proxy, is what I wanna know. I'm sure I could work it out, but I can't.
It seems to be peak network traffic time here at uni, so my downloading is going really slow. I might have to go get a curry then come back later tonight. Damnit, I need my GarageBand update! There was a surge earlier, but now it's slowed to a trickle.
Blair's here keeping me company by reading a George Lucas biography beside me. I did an IMDB.com search to confirm to Blair that George Lucas really never did make any decent movies. Blair was impressed at my use of technology. So was I.
