So the day I decide to start walking home up my butt-shaping hill instead of taking the butt-growing bus the sky opens up and I get soaked. I'm not going to let this stop me. I will keep walking home.

I don't mind it so much, and it's nice to have a celebratory cigarette when I reach the top.
The band's changed gears a little. Our bassist, Edwina, has decided to take a couple of months off to put her life in order and work out priorities. Beyond that we're all go. We've agreed upon a decent long-term plan and what we're all wanting out of things, and now there's a real sense of wanting to get going. The last practise was good, as will be the next I'm sure.
We booked a gig for the end of April which is when we think we'll be ready to rock out new songs. I bought us a band diary, and have started filling dates through to July. It's nice now that we have a sense of what we're doing with our lives.
