Running into people you never really knew is too frickin' wierd. I hate it, You never really had anything to talk about before, and it's still the same old story. Oh well.
Time heals all wounds, yet resets your internal clock.

Going back to school: cool. Music theory/comp would be very cool to learn more about, even if you do become a rock star.
Drinking/sobriety: I drink like an effing Irishmanwell, did.

Music theory: in my experience, if you have an intuition/talent/passion for something, then learning things about ittheory/mechanics/etc (they are about because they are not it)only broadens and deepens what was already there.
It's time. I have decided that its time to go back to school. I'm not absolutely sure what for. I imagin it will most likely be in music. May Theory and composition. I don't want to make a career out of my hobby though. Unless it's as a rockstar. I can dream. I'm thinking about getting back into acting, again. I enjoyed the hell out...

Yep. I know exactly who you are now.
Wow. I was denied access right before I left for work, and I like the result of the work. The site is a lot more fluid now.
So, my audition got moved to Sunday, and with great reward. I remembered that I do know a bassist for this band, and hopefully he likes what they do. Hopefully, though, I like what they do. Tommy is...

A single star remained in the sky. The last rogue invader in the morning sky, soon to be washed away by the wave of morning. Though she knew her fate was inevitable, she stayed. She knew her dismissal was only temporary, and that she would be back. There was no fear in this one last shining exaple of rebellion.
Sometimes, I really wish people could calm down, and breathe.
I go to this audition for this band. It didn't work, and I'll admit that it's a big part of my own fault. I get there, and listen to the set once through, and all I can think is:
"Man, this music is busy." The guitarist is throwing in complex rythyms in the wierdest way,...

Old school is the Latitude LX 486 laptop I still use (running Linux, of course). Older school: the 8085 I built for school, which I still have, but don't use for anything (it's only qualified for use as a controller). I don't like retiring old technology because there aren't enough places for it to retire to, and landfills suck.
Unfortunately, I no longer have an excuse to not play Counter-Strike, the only non-poker video game I've been into since Burn: Cycle.
Audition: if they wanted to hear you sing, why didn't they just cover a song you know, instead of putting you on the spot to invent lyrics? I would think the latter would require more intimacy than you're likely to get when you first meet a group of people. But then, I've never auditioned to sing, so I really dunno wtf I'm talking about [smiles].

Just caught Spanish Judges on the saturday matinee on TV. I like it. I love Matthew Lillard. He always plays such off-the-wall movies. I also love movies with fucked up endings. (smile) I think I need to find it on DVD.
I have an audition with a band on sunday for a vocal spot. I'm looking forward to it. I might have another in for...

I dig Lillard, too, and flicks involving con-artists are usually pretty good (The Hustler, The Color of Money, The Grifters...). Maybe I'll check it out. How'd your audition go?
Tears well up in my eyes. I am looking at the most beautiful woman I have, quite possibly, ever seen in my entire existence. I'm unsure of the state of the tears, happy or sad. Happy because I am looking at this one particular picture that has stolen my heart, and ripped my jaw completely off. Sad: The same reason as happy, and she'll probably...

What do you mean? I'm here, I do stuff on weekends though so I don't post as much.
I have been let down too many times by expecting something to be much more than it actually turns out to be. Someday, I might learn. Although I might be expecting too much from myself there.
There was a knock on the door. It was not what he expected this late at night. Then came the surprise. He had been asleep, yet he felt awake. Or was it the other way around? Who knew? He felt like he had been asleep for so long that he could question his entire life. Was it all true, was it all a dream? How...

I used to answer the telephone in my sleep, and have entire conversations I couldn't remember after hanging up. Sometimes, I couldn't even recall who'd called. When I was an adolescent, what I couldn't remember made me very,
