I went with a friend to see The Grudge tonight. It was pretty good all around, yet lacked some storyline issues and answers to make it exceptional. The cinematography is phenomenal, and the dialogue were slightly above par for a horror movie. The thing that made it suck for me was the people three rows behind my right shoulder. They were laughing throughout the entirity of the film. I was annoyed, but not aggraveated enough to tell them to shut up.
I had to work all weekend with the exception of Friday. I went to a friends sow Friday, and then to the afterparty where I stayed up all night, standing around a bonfire. I got 0 sleep, and proceeded to work from the party. I was tired, but not mentally tired. My body was ready to rest, but my mind was still going strong. I gathered my friend Drake, and headed to another show saturday night. Another friends band who were cursed with a shitty soundguy. I also realised at that show why I hate all ages venues, like "The Rock". Too many kids. I couldn't get in the drinking groove because I was surrounded by fourteen year olds, and even a couple of six year olds. Drake and I returned to my pad where I became tired, and fell asleep. Too bad.
I also have found a little bit of the old flare I had for lyric writing, and am returning to an old method of writing music. I have decided how to break up the monotony of my subject matter, and the restraint I placed on one of my proects. It's now only a matter of time until SG members see the released works of this mind of mine.
