Good day, today.
I called in si--- I mean, I was sick today, and HAD to miss work, otherwise I wold have gotten everyone else sick. yeah, Thats it.
It was a good emotional holiday. I finally was able to enjoy myself for the first time since the Ex and I split. I didn't do anything, but I feel like the day was so productive, for no other reason then I feel better.
I'm starting to wonder how long I can go without eating. It's already been about 38 hours. I'm not hungry, either, which is surprising. I was thinking Nicotine was tricking me out of hunger, but I haven't had a smoke in four hours(I know, impressive, huh?) and I still feel fine. I'm debating whether or not to continue this inadvertant hunger strike, or to fulfill a craving. Hash Browns. MMMM. Hash Browns covered in cheese and ham.
I don't know, I have to be at work in about 4 hours, so I might stop for some Hash Browns on the way.
I used to think Hunger was artificial. In that, I thought Humans ate food regularly because over time, our over-indulgent ancestors took a nice luxury a step too far. It then became a normal thing to eat a lot, and it became the misconception that we have to eat to live. I have always wanted to test this theory, but gave in to the temptation of some craving.
