are you looking in the SOMA for places? there are gorgeous lofts there (i figured they would cost an arm and a leg), but i worried about the neighborhood and feeling safe at night (not that i feel safe at night in the mission, but if i'm moving, i think i want to move somewhere a tad less seedy).

well, i think i view my corner of the mission as a tad seedy because my boy actually got mugged on our corner and just the week before his car got its window smashed in and everything stolen from inside. i don't even feel THAT safe walking alone at night anywhere, even palo alto, but a little more peace of mind would be nice!! the presidio has some really beautiful architecture!!
