I'm very fortunate to have a loving and supportive family, with whom I'll be spending Christmas. Although I wish you all a Merry Christmas, my thoughts go out to those spending Christmas on their own. There are lots of beautiful people on SG but please remember that it just as important to be beautiful on the inside. XXX

I'm very sad to hear of the passing of Leonard Cohen. I have most of his albums and have seen him 3 times live. These concerts were always brilliant and so uplifting and joyous. I could never understand why people found him depressing. He was a true poet, visionary and gentleman.

I'm currently sailing in the Ionian Sea back to Corfu. Really loving it but don't often have internet connection. This may not be an altogether bad thing but I miss logging on to SG!

Just to let you lovely people know, I've recently registered as a host on Couchsurfer! I've travelled extensively in lots of places around the world myself and it would be nice to repay some of the hospitality I've received over the years. I live in a quaint little cottage in the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District in the middle of England. :)

Any aspiring SG's out there wish to have a new photo set, please get in touch. There is some beautiful, secluded countryside around where I live with some old derelict buildings, which would make an ideal backdrop.
