Celebrated my birthday all month long so far. It was technically on the 23rd but I've been having a blast all month. Got myself a nice $50 bottle of Breckenridge bourbon whiskey, cigars, a new tarot deck, and a new walking staff to decorate. Not bad ;)

I did so much shit this weekend, I have not the strength to go out on Cinco de Mayo. Blew through too much cash. Time to buckle down and get some home improvement work done this week so I can get to Friday alert and willing.

I've been putting off working in my bathroom and now I tackled the job of painting, replumbing the shower and tiling the floor. I should have it done by this weekend. Sometimes you have to put the guitar down and do some super manly work.

Went into the studio with Jamie Fry last week and we're getting ready to put down some guitar and bass tracks to wrap up the EP. I'm trying to find the time next month to lay down tracks for my solo band and get the second album out already. So much to do and there's homework for my online classes to do as well. Do...

I purchased a new laptop after the hard drive in my old one burnt up. I managed to get the hard drive replaced and the laptop up and running but I was in the market for a new laptop anyway. Yeah no crazy Spring Break days for me. Instead, I am enjoying a four day weekend with my sons. Friday, we're off to a hockey game and Monday, we're off to tour the Federal Reserve building downtown with their cubscout troop. It's a relaxing weekend full of Dad/sons fun :)

So I have practice with Jamie Fry in prep for our show on March 29th. After that, him and I are going to see some other friends play a show at the Moonlight Tavern. It's a music filled Saturday! Friday I saw a bloody rock musical a friend of mine acts in called Titus: A Bloody and Gory Musical. Yeah, I love my music life.

Well, it looks like I have to straighten my act up now that I had my first ever gout flareup Sunday evening. It still hurts today but not as badly as it did yesterday.
