Wrote my first song on guitar today. I brought my axe to band practice to fool around with it(I typically sing) and we jammed and wrote a song. It was fun. It was some horride punk crap that sounds like the Vines or the Hives, but it was fun. The song only had 4 lines of words that went, "you're in the worst band in the world/your music sounds like shit/you're in the worst band in the world/your band can suck my dick". We will never use it cause it was just a song for fun and I'm not even close to being ready to play guitar at a show, but it was still fun. Hehehe.
The band I'm in, Delilah 13, will be playing at Elbos on Dayton on November 30th with Only Flesh and Godfly. If any one knows who Only Flesh is, then you know how excited I am to play with them again.
I'm very sure this is our last show, seeing how me and our keyboard player are sick of this band. I will miss what we have done, but it's time to move on to more productive and dedicated bands. I'm very interested to see what we can do on our own(me and the keyboard player. we are close close friends).
I still want to start a punk band. I've got this dream to make the most punk band I can make and write the most true to punk style music I can write and do one bad ass punk show and then quit. It was a project idea me and another friend came up with that never happened, but I still wanna do it. Typically, punk realy realy blows in my opinion, but it can rule when done right. It would be a just for fun thing, ya know?
