If you are interested in Sixteenth Century history then bring it on. I'd love to meet for some beer and conversation. My office is only a three minute walk from Town Hall ya know. But be warned. Anytime you ask a grad student who is actually writing what her dissertation is about, you had best be prepared for an extended answer.
But I think is it cool if you are interested and have some background in the period. For me, that makes you a valuable resource as a sounding board. As an interested, but non-professional history buff, I can use your input and and insight to help me create a manuscript and a story that will be of interest and value to a larger historical community. So, let me know what works for you. I am busy, but if there isn't an event at Target Center, then I am flexible most afternoons, especially for an early happy hour.

finally back dude and yes jason did make it with us, actually everybody made it home, so far we are one of the only units to return without any casualties. but yeah within the next month or so my priorities here at home will be figured out and i will make a trip into the cities to see you guys. take it easy

Read him? Hell, I've met him. It was only briefly, at TorCon in Toronto two years ago. He's, uh, big. But yeah, he's near the top of list fantasy wise these days. He's doing some great new stuff in the genre. Breaking things that were in desperate need of breaking.
