and we'll dance them away."

How is it that life can be so crappy and so wonderful at the same time?

it was never you," she says.
The record ended long ago,
we go on dancing nonetheless.

Happy second friday everyone!

I am the Lorax, I speak for the trees...

OK, not really, but they are damn beautiful right now, with the leaves all budding and growing...when I actually take the time to look up at them, to look beyond whatever the hell crappy thing I'm focusing on at the time to pay attention to the world around me...

whatever...

Thank you for the birthday wishes! The trees are gorgeous right now. I took this photo of the elm tree in front of our other duplex. The tree looks so ruffley!

Ahh, hangovers...I have a love/hate relationship with them...

I need a beer...and a burger...town hall maybe...

I need to go to target also...I can't remember what I need though...

I need a new pic, too, now that I have short hair...who has a digital camera that hasn't fallen into their beer?

Ah! My soul wouldst most certainly take delight in discussing obscure biblical bullhockey with a person such as yourself! It is rare that I 'run into' anyone who knows anything of the matter (that is not dangerously crazy).

smile And yes, I did miss the social. But ah, things. They come up, don't they?

biggrin
raven_wing:

Aren't you supposed post all those replies on the other people's journals?

Probably, but Sometimes I have issues with rules. Plus it got you over to my journal again, riiight? *grins*

The music is wierd, not very heavy, so I'm surprised I like it. But its intense. I posted their link, I think the site has some of thier songs if you wanna check em out!

I will make sure I check them out. From the sound of it they might be reminiscent of Deconstruction. (Dave Nevarro, the singer from Janes Addiction and someone else I can't remember at the moment...I highly recommend!)

I'm always depressed around the full moon. I'm still not completely over my breakup last fall. I've been dealing pretty well lately, dealing with it and moving on. But sometimes its hard. Like this week when we had been planning a trip to Hawaii. I guess she went to St Thomas or something this week instead.

Well, I guess eventually this will get better.

So what did she do at St. Thomas, hop frat parties and study for finals?

And yes, I know that you're referring to the island.

ARRR!!!
raven_wing:
I am guessing that was about the time that you broke up?

I'm always depressed around the full moon.

A suggestion? You specifically plan something fun, something memorable for you to think about to offset the bad memories associated with the full moon. If that means planning something fun for the next 6 months around the 'depressing time' then you need it. Don't allow the past to kill the future.
If you are looking over your shoulder at the things that hurt in the past, you will not notice the present and future as it passes you by...
