Well, for the first time since I got out here I am fucking loving life. All it took was a reason to cook.
What the fuck, I never realized how great cooking for others made me feel.
I got all jacked up earlier in the week when the Goddess told me that she was going to have a bridal shower for a co-worker. She wanted a Big Easy thang. The challenge was made; I never cooked New Orleans style things before.
A red roux, Gumbo, Jambalaya, and a cornbread pudding with a bourbon caramel sauce fucking put me on the top of the world.
Damn, I love to cook for parties. I am beaming; a big fat shit-eating grin is on my face as I type. I think I found a new calling.
Today, for the first time since March, my life is fucking great!!!!!!!!
