Hey everyone.
So my first blog post ... I figure this'll be mainly use this as an introduction. So, where to start. Well first and foremost right now I'm a college student (Computer Science major) attending the University of Texas at Dallas. I'm a senior, expecting to graduate in December. Lets see I've also been at various times an English, Philosophy, Psychology, and Biology major. I tend to enjoy dabbling in a great many things, but have a hard as hell time finding something to focus on. The fact that I managed to settle on being a CS-major long enough for me to actually graduate as one is pretty amazing fucking amazing in and of itself.
Other than being a student I consider myself to be a geek, my principle hobbies being video games and tabletop roleplaying. The other big thing I'm into is rock and roll--primarily classic rock of the 60s and 70s, and 90s rock too (alt-rock and grunge). I sorta play guitar, not well or anything, and the fact that I suck at it hurts my soul, because if it weren't for that fact I'd totally be a musician in a heart beat (indeed 'Welcome to the Machine' could be a theme song for my teenage years). Alas, however, it is not to be, musical talent is something that eludes me depsite my better efforts (I've tried to pick-up piano as well). So basically I play a little guitar as a hobby.
Let's see ... what else is there to say? Not terribly much unfortunately. My time is mostly spent playing dealing with class, playing video games, and hitting the Flying Saucer for $2.50 pint night. Oh yes, also: porn. I'm quite a bit of a perv, but thats probably not too surprising considering where we are, afterall.
Anyways, you'll probably get to know me better by talking to me, than reading some stupid-ass introductory blog post .. so yeah ... see you guys around.
