I finally got a new contract. It pays well, it looks interesting, and it should last about a year. A large chunk of it will be thrown back into the OS community, so I might get some more street cred out of it as well.

The Scrimshaw Brothers were pretty good, even though, and there was pretty good traffic at BLB. We grabbed a bit and a couple of beers, but my honey ate something bad so we called it an early night. We could hear the midnight fireworks as we fell asleep. Pretty lame, but there will be even more reason to party next year.

My honey is coming back this afternoon, and we are going to the show @Bryant Lake Bowl tonight. Dunno if we are staying out to party or not. I depends on what we find. Nobody here knows us yet, so I'm not going to be running into any of you, but then again, you never can tell.
