"You've waged a war of nerves. But you can't crush the kingdom. Can't be what your idols are. Can't leave the scar. You cry for compensation. I ask you please just give us...five minutes alone!"
Horns,
The Inconsolable Hate cover of Six Feet Under's "Remains of You" is finished and available for everyone to check out at: www.inconsolablehate.com. I'm proud of the final product and the time I took on it paid off in valuable studio experience. This time around I used a lot of the new gear I'll be using for my side business, Asylum Recording. I also took awhile to make a guitar tone that matches the wall of crunch that the original had. On a side note I would have mixed the drums louder in the mix myself, but old school S.F.U. is all about Alan West (Obituary) and his monster riffs! So pack a bowl and enjoy!!!
Now on to other matters. It will be awhile until the next post due to me working on some new Apparition material www.myspace.com/apparition1. In the meantime I'll post mastered versions of the "NIL" album and the "Who Will Survive...And What Will Be Left of Them?" demo. As far as the concept/tracklist for "Null". The album picks up where "Nil" left off, however the character Nil has undergone a psychological transformation into a new form called: The Mourning Star. I can also say that "Null" will focus on the external world, whereas "Nil" focused on the internal world. Here's the tracklist:
Inconsolable Hate - NULL
I. Rise of The Mourning Star
1. Mourning Star Rising
2. Resilience
3. Steadfast to the Onslaught
II. Daystar - The Light Bearer
4. Requiem of Amor
5. T Minus 10 Years
6. Reverance of a Myth
7. Herd Mentality
III. The Adversary
8. Ruins of the American Empire
9. A Thousand Voices As One
10. On The Eve of Revolt
11. The Scapegoat
12. Kindling The Flames of Revolution
