So i went to the SGC get together at Delilah's and Exit last night for ... well of course halloween lol. I dressed up but i was out of the green that goes with my mask so i had to do my best with what i had. i got there late. the little audio thing on the bus that tells you what stop is next wasn't working and i was having a text convo with a friend so i completelly missed my stop..... by like 2 or 3 miles lol. so i had to back track .. which sucked.
I was a little bit nervous going cause outside of randomly running into Apexxx at the birthday massacres show a month or so back i had never met anyone from the group.
When i FINALLY got to Delilah's I wasn't sure where to go. As i stated i had never really met anyone so i didn't fully know what anyone looked like. But i walked around and saw a few people i VAGUELY recognized lol. I asked if it was SGC with much embarassment in my voice and luckily it was lol. Well i did my best to make small talk with everyone i could. The odd thing is normally in social situations i tend to click with and talk to women not like in a flirting manor but i have more female friends and i tend to feel more comfortable talking to and hanging out with them. Much of it goes back to not having a father... but thats a story for a different time. But a good portion of the night i was talking with jtemperance andscarekrow and alot of the other guys.
Even with talking to a few people i felt really odd and awkward and stood around not doing anything a good portion of the night. Everyone seemed to know alot about eachother since they had all hung out before and had questions to ask and stories to tell. Oddly enough i finally had a big long convo with someone who wasn't even with our group. I had gone up to the bar when we were upstairs at The Exit and another guy was a zombie too and him and his friend complimented me on my makeup. and me and him ended up talking for over an hour on zombies zombie movies and just horror movies in general. It was nice it made my night.
Even with the awkwardness i still had a great night. Its always like that when you first hang out with people you dont realy know. i'll be at the party on saturday to celebrate Apexxx and Unaffected getting all married and shit lol. I should be better there. SInce i have now met people and its in more of a comfortable of a situation in an apartment.
