ok its 10 pm sunday; i've spent the entire day prepping my classes for the week, and revising my manuscript to take in the comments of one of my editors. he was very positive about the content, but made tons of stylistic suggestion. so i've spent the day moving commas, footnotes, quotations, space here, hyphen there aghhhh the glamorous life of a writer.
but no matter how drab today is i can't complain at all. saturday was amazing. M and I went to dinner, and since it was 'hand on food' we took turns feeding each other, oblivious to the surroundings,
21grams was intense. there wasn't a moment of let up; the movie kept pounding its brutal vision into you. however, it was an amazing film. benicio del torres gave a truly stunning performance; he literally burns through the screen. if you like him you have to go see this movie.
ah...and i got to wake up and see her laying next to me....

amazing.
love is truly one of the most amazing things on the planet. i think. attraction, lust, like, desire, and other such words thrown in there as well ... when you can't control yourself due to your feelings towards another person.
it was an echocardiogram, so there was an ultrasound of my heart, and it was probably the most humbling experience of my life, to see this thing, in black and white, the one thing keeping me breathing, thinking, and typing this.
