So, if I post something with a macabre-like title (or just a sorta freaky title), it's 99% of the time going to be a dream that I had.
I almost never hit REM, and when I do, my REM state is so short, that I practically didn't get any deep sleep anyways.
Since my dreams are so few and far between, I get excited to have them, though most people would consider my "dreams" to be nightmares.
They also happen to be extremely vivid, so I think that's why i enjoy them so much.
Anyways, tl:dr, whenever I have a dream, I'll share it online. My friends, acquaintances, and I have used my dreams often as a baseline for drawing, music, painting, and writing, and a lot of them say I should compile them into something a lot like the Scary Stories series.
So, have fun reading them. You could probably also use them as horror stories next to the campfire. d:
