I really don't know if anyone will get this in time, I'm going shopping tomorrow morning...early...
...but I'm having a hard time picking out a couple really good books to read. I want something along the same lines as Harry Potter (maybe even a series?) OR something along the lines of Chuck Palahniuk books (but not his books, because I've read them all.)
Anyway...help? Suggestions?

I suggest Neil Gaiman if you want a fantasy sort of story. Either Neverwhere or Stardust (now a major motion picture, in a theatre near you).
What about old classics like Vonnegut?
