Wassup?!
Finally finished "Seabiscuit," the book. Extremely well written and virtually nothing like the movie - other than having the same characters, that is. I find it very interesting how the screenwriter changed the book - and even history - to make the movie. It could almost be considered two different stories.
Still working on the writing - but it isn't going that well. Finding...

Okay so it's been nearly a week since I've made an entry. Been working on a short story that's actually a template for a screenplay I want to write. Though I know it'll never see the light of day (the screenplay) it's something I've never tried before.
I'm probably pissing off my neighbors right now. Managed to find one of my favorite albums on eBay...

Hey all,
Finally got some book and movie choices listed.
I'm in the middle of "Seabiscuit" the book. Just great writing. Very different from the movie (they took a lot of liberties) but just as good.
Anyone catch the Thomas Jane interview here? He's already talking about P2. YEAH!!
varangian:
Nope, I haven't read that interview yet.
I don't know when the first Punisher movie had it's premiere in the US, but here in Norway we have to wait until the 30th of july. Still a few more months to wait. Heck, i can probably get it on dvd before seeing it in the cinema. eeek
dsnake:
I'll hafta check out that book. Sounds like
a good one. smile

Well, I was going to write about the Johnny Depp interview in this months Playboy, but the discussion has bogged down into an arguement over patriotism and who's actually learned their history.
I think I'm going to have to surrender to the idea that some of the guys on the boards over at Playboy are just genetically clueless. (Sorry it took me so long. puke )...

varangian:
Heya, not such a bad group of sg favorites yourself either. smile
Especially like the one in the middle, she's foxy. biggrin

Dsnake: If you have 10 or less friends they show up as pictures, if more as text. So there is certain merits of being a loner. tongue

Well, it's Saturday and a beautiful - if windy - day in Denver. I was gonna talk about the Johnny Depp interview in this month's Playboy, but I just got back from see The Punisher and thought that might be more fun.
I'm a fan of graphic novels (and comic books for those purists out there) and felt that this movie had the feel of...

we've been going more and more mainstream (for example: our connection with PB) and I think it's kinda cool.

We have the burlesque tour and we've been in tons of magazines. We've also been featured on HBO's 'Real Sex' so I suppose the mag. is just the next step....I'm all for it....hehe YAY for getting famous biggrin tongue

I'm about as white bread as you can get. But I'd like to think I am open-minded.
