I find it very interesting when an old friend comes back into your life. What their reaction is, compaired to what you think it's going to be. The defenses you put up before you even hear from them, if they've hurt you, you have a different perception, If you hurt them you have a different perception, but either way if their worth it their worth it ... pure and simple. in that spirit i give my best to all my ex boyfriends and all my ex best friends. 11 more days and oh so much to do so why not procrastinate for a litt…
thanks for the insight for managing our 14 year old. in the end we let her go to the mall (Mall of America), but with some time limits and "people" limits.
the scamp did try to stretch permission a little--"after the mall, we're going to take a ride around town in so-and-so's truck."
um, NO. she gets points for being straighforward/honest, but not yet.
old friends can be odd. over time, i've found that the ones left behind that come back are just as unappealing. at first, it's nice to relive fun times, but....
