No school today for my son. DAMN. Now I have him all day. So what do I do with him? He is driving me insane. He is autistic and so am I so now I have to deal with another minnie me. I think I'll take him swinging. I've been wanting to go for such a long time. I feel fusterated because I don't know what I want to do with my day. There are things that need to get done, but I don't want to do them. There is mopping the floor, and taking my medication, and setting something out for supper tonight. And then there is my molecular biology, got to work on my projects, reports, labs, and all the fun stuff that goes with that. Need to wash my lab coat, but I don't want to touch it with a 6 foot pole. Lots of nasty stuff on it. I worked with many a nasty critter I'll tell you. No level IV stuff or anything but I can still make you violently ill. Ecoli, tuberculosis, streptococci (strep throat), to name a few. In another month I'll be working on a new lab that involves antibody indirect detection of funtioning enzymes in a blood cell of a diseased clam. We are studying blood cancer in humans by comparative studies in clam blood cancer. Cool eh? Very excited. But I am off to swinging now.
