So I know I've been bitching on and on about not having a steady job, and being poor, and being recently single a lot. Unfortunately, this may not end any time soon.
But you know what?? I have the greatest friends in the fucking world. I really do. I think they are bound and determined not to see my ship sink. My roomate bought me a ticket to see Spiderman 2 last week out of the blue because he knew I couldn't afford it, and would die if I didn't see it in its opening week. My friend Kris learned of my relationship woes and is dragging me out for food and some drinks on him. My chum Tony took me to a rave last weekend with lots of beautiful people, and wouldn't let me say no. And a very kind soul who I met on this site has kept my brain gleefully occupied for a decent chunk of my weekend. AND the bartender at the bar across the street actually told me that if I'm really in a bind and need some money to make it through the next few weeks to talk to him about it. Then he told me that he would rather see me at his bar chatting and laughing with the regular patrons than sitting at home moping because I can't afford it. That just blew my mind. I mean, I would do, and have done the same for my friends and have never expected anything in return. But for Mike the bartender, who I do consider a friend, to offer that much is just amazing. Of course, I don't need to be in debt to anyone, so I'm not going to take him up on his offer, but just the fact that he offered made my day.
So, this is my thanks to everyone who has helped me out. Hopefully, some day soon, I can repay the favors either to you or someone else in need. Much luv to all.

Chicago theater....I want to see some, but have no idea where to go to look. And i mean, i dont want to see tommy guns garage, but something good. Any help?
