I have a feeling if I don't do some writing soon, I'm bound to suffer some internal collapse of Ghostbusters twinkie proportions.
It seems as of late I have zero creative outlets, save perhaps re-arranging the droid mini-figures that came with a lonely Star Wars Lego set I found at work into new sexual positions that are probably only possible in outer space anyway. My...

AIM has a minor flaw that drives me nuts, sometimes. Anything that pops up while you are typing a messages to someone automatically defaults to being the top window, meaning your key strokes are now being applied to this new thing. Generally you catch it in a few seconds, but a few seconds simply isn't enough when the "accept/do not accept" window comes up from...

the three books you started reading while expecting mad hordes of martin luther king junior shoppers.

Just 'cause you feel it

Well, I placed my first thing ever for sale on Ebay. I was pretty anti-Ebay for awhile, not because I hated the site or anything, but because it would have been financial suicide for me to join it. I'd have been bidding myself into a shallow grave. It's bad enough I have...

It might be a sickness...a disorder, if you will. Regardless, I have a problem.
When shelving the vast selection of cookbooks we have at the bookstore (where I work), I get the urge to buy them. I don't even cook. I mean, I try to, and I suppose I could if I had instructions, but it's certainly not part of any current routine in my...

it's really meijer (as in thrifty acres), but since we're from michigan, we have to say meijer's (kroger's, kresge's, vernor's. . .it's kind of quaint, like we know the owner!)
are you a jedi knight? i swell with pride at the fact that they were founded in my hometown (not that anyone should know what they are).
as for what girls are impressed by in the way of food, i think we just like to eat.

I love if a guy can cook, but it isn't a requirement.
Cookbooks are tempting because the cover is full of yummy pictures, and it's neat to think you can create something just by following the simple recipes. I LOVE to cook, so I own a ton of cookbooks and a recipe box. I'm happiest when I create a meal for people and they rave about it.
I say go ahead and buy one that isn't too intimidating. "Help! My Apartment Has a Kitchen!" is a best-seller.

I have to take a moment and wonder what I'm doing up at 7:30am on a Friday when I don't have to work...
It might have something to do with the fact that I accidently almost put myself into cryonic suspended animation last night. I usually have my window open a crack during the day because there is too much heat in my room, and...

The Unbearable Lightness of Being is fantastic! It has this tenderness about it, I think, from Kundera's loss of his Prague. Very sad, but worth reading, for sure. Hope you enjoy it!

Well, here we go.
I'm not much for making entries lately, on any journal. I have (of course) a Live Journal, as well as a few personal hand-written ones...one for general thoughts, and one for my crack-pot theories about life, love and quantum insanity.
Thats about it for now.
