Attention Michigan folk: my roommate and I are going to compile a photo-essay of Michigan...mostly for fun. We're not real serious about it, we just want to tour the state. This will take place tomorrow. The cities on the attraction list are:

Ann Arbor
Jackson
Battle Creek
Kalamazoo
Holland
Grand Rapids
Lansing

Ultimately, I should end up in Lansing at
AcornPigTurtle's birthday party. This should be sweet. If we're going to be in your area, and you want to point us in the right direction for some excellent photos, hit me up.

That aside, I need to start reading fiction again. It seems my search for meaning in my own life is more depressing than anything I can imagine, and the recent surge in newly-acquired books on philosophy and religions is not doing me alot of good in the way of "taking my mind off things".

Seriously...wrong word, perhaps, but I think I'm losing my sense of humor. I used to have a pretty good laugh at least once a day, and I'm lucky if I get one once a month now. I need to lighten up and be a geek about some shit like I used to.
