Ahh well...here I am, back again.
The relationship thing didn't last long. No surprises there. It's just not an area I have a lot of skill in. My assumption that I could win a girl over the other guys she also wanted to date was terribly idiotic of me. What, in all honesty, was I thinking? There was no lesson to be learned here, just reminded of: that I am ill-equiped to be competing for the attention of females. I think I may have tried this time on accident.
At least we're moved into the new house. The area is definitely a lot more friendly. The local Speedway attendent and I might be considered bros, were either of us black or at the very least, closer to the city. I was taken aback by an attempt at conversation the other morning when I was picking up my usual double-shot of Amp and something that passes for meat on a bun. In Warren, you were lucky if you got three full words out of the attendent hiding behind a spinning plexiglass tray and speaker box. This place might turn out to be too friendly for me.
