Ive had strep throat since Thursday. I had to take a week off work to get better, so now Im poorer than OJ after the lawyer fees. Today is the first day I can swallow without flinching. It felt like someone was stabbing me repeatedly in the throat, now I know some people are into pain, but Im not one of those people.

This is the third night in a row I cant sleep -Im not one for patterns I light several candles just to get that dreamy feeling in full swing. The smell of blowing out a flame is probably the most enticing scent. Glade should make a plug in for that smell: Blown out candle fresh. For that birthday cake- make a wish feeling by GLADE....

Yeah, insomnia is rough, I have also been having trouble the last two weeks. I found a NASA website the othet night that has a free program that shows all the sattelites orbiting the earth in real time. (I think it's called "J-Track 3D") It was so wierd to watch the MILLIONS of little dots all swirling aroung the earth and to realize I've never been aware of them before. Made me sleepy...

I can't even remember the last time I made a wish...I think I gave up on that.

It is storming in New Orleans. Just like the culture here, the weather is over the top dramatic; the thunder is booming and the lightening is alarming. I listen to Just like cockatoos by The Cure at full volume. Ahhh, this vision is larger than a Polanski film.

So, I went to the Foo Fighter concert on Monday. I won tickets from a radio station (106.7 the end -more corporate radio, but hey free tickets). Highly intense; it was a small venue @ The Howlin Wolfe. I was so close to the stage, I could see Dave Grohls eyelashes. The crowd was packed we moved like molecules in a solid substance.
