I really should try to start being a bit more timely with my updates. I finally get around to making an update about my weekend on the tuesday. Aah well, that'll learn me for being a lazy bugger.
So, first of all, my thanks for all the get well wishes from last time. Rest assured I'm feeling a lot better than I did this time last week, what with the not puking my guts up and praying for death and all.
On top of that I had a rather spiffy weekend. Granted, it didn't start too great with some old lady coming into the library and having a temper tantrum over the public computers, moaning and yelling out loud in the middle of the reference library and almost sobbing. However, straight after that it was off to SGUK HQ, The Ship, for the big meet along with copious amounts of drinking. I'd only miss someone out if I tried to list everyone, so I'll just say I got to chat to various old friends and meet some lovely new people, which is always nice.
After kicking-out time we actually made it to a club with a minimum of fuss, which is strange for us, although in the end it turned out to be a bit.. well... mediocre. They played about 6 or 7 good songs at The Borderline and interspersed it with a whole lotta crap. Aah well, somehow I danced enough to do something to my toe, either breaking or spraining it, which made getting back home somewhat excruciating. Aah well, it's all to the good.
