Oh Lordie, well it's been an ever-so-slightly insane weekend of SGUK-related antics, which I guess I should now attempt to relate to you all, my loving and ad..... woah....... deja vu.
Yes indeed, another week, another weekend full of both hijinx and shennanigans with the charming bunch of scallywags that are the SGUK London Hardcore(tm). You guys are draining my wallet dry but I don't regret a minute of it.
So on the friday, after spending a hard day being hit on by elderly women (mental note: A library is the perfect job for any granny-fetishists) I dragged myself down to the SGUK hangout of choice, The Ship, for some much needed unplugging in the company of friends, those friend's including newly-baptised official member of the London Hardcore antenna, perennial hanger-on and recent menber
brainfreeze, fresh meat dafunk, charming biscuit-obsessed looney G1, stalwart buddy Hermes, the lovely Kate who has EXCELLENT taste in Megadrive games, SGUK's resident gallic smoothy/total piss-head Look_Into_Me, fellow zombie enthusiast munch, loveable emo weenie partiallyblind, purdy Oirish bundle of fun Pearlbass, camera-shy foil to my perverse vagabond Perversia, well-coiffured manslut Tubesound, SGUK sweetheart Vix, camp metal maniac Wrathchild and, of course, the reason we were all there, the ever-bouncy Asha.
As usual, laughs a-plenty were had, highlights including the shocking theft of my camera in order to delete some embarrasing pictures, the swine, as well as having G1 pour pure insanity all over me in the form off the Mighty Morphin Biscuit Rangers (hopefully coming to a TV screen near you), a mass drunken exodus to Camden, passing on the ludicrously long queue for the Electric Ballroom and ending up in a late bar instead. I woke up at about 12pm the next day on Kinto's sofabed next to Antenna after ambling back on the nightbus.
Much as I would have liked more time to recuperate, I had two hours to shower and change before heading back out to Camden to meet with Asha, Kate, Antenna, Kinto, Hermes, and Cherry and her beau all too briefly. We even managed that msot elusive of beasts, the SGUK quiet drink. Fun was had, Pacman was played and a good time was had by all.
Luff you all.
